Choosing an earth-friendly holiday

We are building a list of ideas for holidays that leave you with a cleaner conscience, many of which we anticipate will be collected at A Clean Break events, the first of which was on Sunday 26 April 2009 (click here for more details).

You can browse the existing list of holidays, or contribute by adding your own holiday idea.

Earthship Rental Holiday

I had the opportunity of staying in one of these extraordinary fully sustainable houses, the only one for rent outside USA. Setting off from St Bees in Cumbria, by the Irish Sea on the West Coast of England, walkers spend a few days in The Lake District, then cross the Pennines into the Yorkshire Dales, before finishing through the North Yorkshire Moors to reach the pretty village of Robin Hood’s Bay on the East Coast.
